Our team is proud to partner with Adobe Australia to inspire, up skill and inject creativity into Australian educators. In this partnership we delivered 10 x Teacher Professional Development, reaching regional and metro teachers across the state, covering almost all the Adobe CC digital tools, tailored to the education context.

In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, our focus was on equipping these educators with fundamental AI knowledge and skills while emphasising industry trends and understanding of a complex technology.

We as teachers have been challenged to engage more and more in the understanding of the skills and attributes that students need to acquire to be successful active participants in a global society. As a curriculum, technologies involve experiential, practical, and applied knowledge and theoretical understanding. It requires students to be autonomous and creative problem-solvers as individuals and team members.

The Darling Downs Southwest Manufacturing Hub under The Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water (RDMW) partnered with Inspired Education Australia (IEA) to engage a unique delivery mixing industry and education sector leaders, in Chinchilla and the neighbouring regions.

Focused on empowering students for future success, we sought to educate, inspire and download a lot of skilful knowledge, while understanding the preferences and aspirations of over 220 students at St. Joseph’s Nudgee College.

Highlighting the keys to success within Industry 4.0 & 5.0 this inspired learning experience details the top 8 global technologies, alongside viable pathways, and keys to their career success.

At the end of 2019, the Head of Department for Humanities, Alicia Harris and I were looking different approaches to further extend and enrich students in our Academic Excellence Program for Humanities. We endeavoured to incorporate the work and theories of Renzulli’s ‘Re-examining the Role of Gifted Education and Talent Development for the 21st Century: A Four-Part Theoretical Approach’ to provide an inclusive approach for students to develop their leadership abilities and 21st century skills.
